Social and domestic issues inspire my recent work, in particular the rules and mores and even a country’s laws that guide family behavior and determine their destiny. My work looks askance at the efforts to hide from the world those events or secrets that reflect badly on a family.

Rather than disclose the secrets, which are not mine to divulge, I look at the places where I have discovered some of them: family furniture and objects around the house that can shed, metaphorically, the secrets and stories that are part of family tradition.
